On July 11, 2023, the opening of the energy and soft drinks factory of the ENNA company, part of “Cahan Holding,” located in Nakhchivan, took place. Equipped with modern equipment, the factory is the largest energy and soft drinks factory in the Caucasus in terms of production capacity. The opening event was attended by Fuad Nagiyev, the Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Tapdig Aliyev, the Minister of Economy of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Vugar Abbasov, the founder of “Cahan Holding” and the Chairman of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs of Nakhchivan, as well as the leadership teams of the holding and ENNA company.
In his speech welcoming the guests, Vugar Abbasov provided detailed information about the enterprise and the factory. He emphasized that the project is a significant event in terms of replacing imported products with local production, creating new job opportunities in Nakhchivan, ensuring employment for the local population, and improving the material well-being of the people. He stated, “The enterprise also gives us the opportunity to sell products to foreign countries. I believe that the products of the factory, which lead to customer satisfaction, will also be exported to neighboring countries, Central Asia, and Arab countries.”
In his speech, Fuad Nagiyev, the Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, mentioned that in the framework of the implementation of the “State Program for the Socio-Economic Development of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic for 2023-2027,” new enterprises will continue to be established in Nakhchivan. Regarding the human resources potential of the enterprises, he highlighted the importance of training skilled personnel with modern professional skills using the potential of higher education institutions, secondary special education, and vocational schools operating in the Autonomous Republic.
The ENNA LLC company was established in 2022 by “Cahan Holding” to meet the domestic demand for energy and soft drinks in the country. The main goal of the enterprise is to continuously increase production capacity during its operation and to expand beyond the borders of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, selling carbonated drinks to other regions. The factory operates in three shifts and has the capacity to produce 230 million canned drinks per year. A total of 300 new employees have been hired for the operation of the enterprise, utilizing local potential.
Thanks to the application of GMP safety standards and the installation of innovative technologies at the factory, products are produced without human contact. The produced goods are tested in a modern laboratory, and only those that pass quality tests are released for sale.
