On October 28, 2020, an awareness-raising event was held at “Cahan AVM” LLC in preparation for the winter season, with the participation of Rashad Allahyarov, the Occupational Safety and Technical Safety Specialist of the Commercial Companies Union of Cahan Holding, and Captain Turan Shahhuseynov, a representative of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. The event was attended by 50 employees.
Captain T. Shahhuseynov provided detailed and comprehensive information to the employees about the necessary actions to prepare for the winter season. He explained what to do in case of any malfunctions in gas appliances and water heaters, how to recognize symptoms of carbon monoxide leakage in homes, and what initial steps to take in such situations. He specifically emphasized the importance of ensuring that chimney pipes are open when installing heating stoves in individual houses during the winter season and gave advice on which types of flue pipes should be used.
At the end of the event, the leadership of Cahan Holding expressed gratitude to the management and all staff of the Ministry of Emergency Situations for conducting awareness-raising activities with employees in the structural departments of the Holding.
This year, “Cahan Tabak International” LLC has cultivated tobacco on an area of 45 hectares. To increase farmers’ interest in this field, 4,000 m² drying stations were set up on their cultivation areas, allowing them to quickly deliver their products and receive payments. The collection points, equipped with new equipment and devices, have been designed to provide comprehensive comfort and convenience for the farmers.
The Hongqi H9 sedan is offered in four configurations with two engine options: the 2.0 Turbo V4 and the 3.0 Turbo V6. The version equipped with the 2.0L engine consumes 7.1 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers, while the 3.0L engine variant consumes 9 liters. The Hongqi H9 is equipped with 10 intelligent and 13 safety systems.
At the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Football Federation, the results of the past year and the tasks ahead were discussed.
At the event, the Minister of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Ramil Haji, stated that there are 17 stadiums and 28 mini-football fields in the autonomous republic, and currently, 1,244 youth and adolescents are actively engaged in football across 100 groups. In order to increase the interest in football among the population, especially the younger generation, 10 stadiums have been overhauled and put into operation: 4 in the Sharur district, 2 in the Julfa district, 2 in the Sadarak district, and 1 each in the Ordubad and Kangarli districts.
It was noted that in recent years, seminars and courses for coaches and referees, an international tournament for youth football teams, new seasons of the Regional League, futsal and beach football’s first professional league and championships have been held. Additionally, the implementation of AFFA’s “Girls Can” and UEFA’s “Grassroots” projects has been ensured. Thanks to local and international cooperation, targeted steps have been taken for the implementation of future plans. The Vice President of the Federation, Sakit Rzayev, provided detailed information about the federation’s activities from the previous year.
At the reporting-election meeting, the new president of the federation was introduced to the public. Vüqar Abbasov, Chairman of the Board of the Confederation of Entrepreneurs and President of the “Cahan Holding” Business Association, was elected as the President of the Nakhchivan Football Federation. Vüqar Abbasov stated that, just like in all other sectors, significant work is being done in the field of sports in the autonomous republic. He noted that the interest of the youth in sports has increased due to the favorable conditions created. Expressing gratitude for the trust placed in him, Vüqar Abbasov emphasized that the Football Federation will take systematic steps towards the development of football in the autonomous republic, and they will work hard in this direction.
The “Araz-Nakhchivan” Football Club, sponsored by “Cahan Holding,” was crowned the champion of the Azerbaijan First Division 2022/23 season and secured the gold medals.
At the ceremony held after the match at the Nakhchivan City Stadium, Fuad Nəcəfli, the authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, Rovnag Abdullayev, the President of the Azerbaijan Football Federations Association (AFFA), Serxan Hacıyev, the Secretary General of AFFA, Elxan Səmədov, the President of the Professional Football League, Vüqar Abbasov, the Chairman of the Nakhchivan Football Federation (NFF) and the founder of “Cahan Holding,” the leadership of “Araz-Nakhchivan” FC, as well as state representatives and prominent individuals from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, participated in the event.
Vüqar Abbasov, the Chairman of the Nakhchivan Football Federation, discussed the efforts that led to the championship of the “Araz-Nakhchivan” club, stating that “the club was practically created from scratch, the stadium was renovated, covered with natural grass, and equipped with lighting and sound systems. A football academy was established to develop youth football. The club’s sponsor, ‘Cahan Holding,’ has done everything necessary for the players to become champions. I am confident that the required steps will be taken to ensure the club’s success in the higher league in the future.”
After the speeches, the distinguished guests presented the gold medals and the champion’s trophy to the players of “Araz-Nakhchivan” Football Club in front of their home crowd at the home stadium.
Following the award ceremony, the event continued with a concert program. The fans enjoyed songs performed by Honored Artist of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ədalət Şükürov and Honored Artist Fərid Əliyev, and watched the performances of the beloved “Ponpon” rhythmic gymnastics group from the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, spending a delightful time.
As part of his visit, Serjan Abdıkarimov familiarized himself with the roofing materials production facility and the plastic products manufacturing plant.
On December 10, 2019, Serjan Abdıkarimov, the Ambassador of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Azerbaijan, visited the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. During his visit, he first laid a wreath at the statue of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, which stands proudly in the central square of Nakhchivan city, and then visited the Heydar Aliyev Museum.
As part of his visit, the esteemed ambassador toured the “Cahan Sənaye Kompleksi” LLC of the Cahan Holding Commercial Companies Union, which includes the heating panel, roofing materials production facility, and plastic products manufacturing plant.
During the visit, the ambassador was informed that the heating panels and roofing materials facility covers an area of 5,620 square meters and is equipped with modern equipment to produce roofing materials, heating panels, and painting lines.
The plastic products manufacturing plant is fully automated with equipment from Turkey, Italy, and Taiwan, installed over an area of 14,000 square meters. The plant produces 160 different types of products in seven categories.
