Cahan Construction

“Cahan-Inşaat” Limited Liability Company was established in 2007 as part of the Cahan Holding Commercial Companies Union, taking into account the development of the construction sector in Nakhchivan city.

The main activity of the company is to carry out general construction works. In the direction of meeting the housing demand of young people in the Republic, consistent measures are being taken, and Cahan İnşaat plays an active role in these projects.

As part of the work carried out in this field, based on the Decree of the Chairman of the Supreme Assembly of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic dated January 31, 2014, the “Program for the Socio-Economic Development of Nakhchivan City for 2014-2015” was approved. According to this program, a new residential complex, “Youth City”, will be built on Aziz Aliyev Street in Nakhchivan city. The complex will consist of six buildings: two 9-story, two 11-story, and one 13-story building. The area of the two-room apartments in these buildings will be 60-77 square meters, while the area of the three-room apartments will range from 104-142 square meters.

The construction of the “Youth City” has been successfully completed, and it now includes a total of 506 apartments, shopping centers, sports facilities, and other service areas. The residential complexes are built with modern communal and household conditions, as well as social infrastructure, meeting the highest standards.

The sale of apartments is carried out through mortgage. Modern lighting has been installed in the courtyard, and a video surveillance system has been set up to ensure security. Additionally, a kindergarten, basketball and volleyball courts, as well as outdoor chess fields, have been constructed with a modern design style. Each residential building is equipped with passenger and cargo elevators, and there is a 323-space underground parking lot.

As part of the company, the Machine Mechanism Directorate, Water and Sewerage Directorate, Door and Window Production Shop, which started operations in 2007, the Concrete Products Plant (which began operations in 2012), Construction and Completion Directorate, and the Housing Construction Directorate, which started in 2013, have carried out the construction of the new residential complex “Youth City” in Nakhchivan city. The complex was completed and handed over in 2018.

The Water and Sewerage Directorate carried out the construction of the water supply and sewage networks for Shikhmahmud and Khalilli villages in Babek district within the framework of the “Water Supply and Sewerage Investment Program Project-2” jointly financed by the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Asian Development Bank in 2016.

In 2017, within the framework of the “Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage System Reconstruction Project for Shahbuz District Center and Surrounding Villages”, the construction of the water intake, water treatment plant, water and sewage networks, and household connections was completed and put into operation.

In these works, equipment from the renowned German company Bioworks Verfahrenstechnik Gmbh was used. In 2018, within the framework of the “Construction of Drinking Water Supply and Sewerage Networks for Shekerabad Village, Babek District”, the construction of the water and sewage networks and household connections was completed.

In 2019-2020, the construction of the Water Network was carried out in several villages of Kangarli District. Since 2021, the construction of the Artesian Water Network continues in Yayci Village, Culfa District.

One of the significant projects carried out by Cahan-Inşaat LLC in the development of the construction sector in Nakhchivan city was the construction of the “Entertainment Island” in the Nakhchivan River area in 2013, designed for people to spend their leisure time effectively.

In 2018, within the framework of the “White City” Project in Baku, the construction of several residential buildings was completed and handed over. The company continues its activities in the beautification of Nakhchivan city every day.

In 2020, Cahan İnşaat LLC successfully completed its first project, the “Ümid” Residential Complex, where the construction of 7 buildings with 9 floors each is currently underway. The “Nakhchivan Mortgage Fund” ASC plays a crucial role in providing affordable housing to young people under favorable terms. All loans are fully funded by the fund. In the course of this year, 32 more families have benefited from this initiative and become homeowners.
